Well, the move is finally happening...dates locked in. I can't believe this year is almost over...I feel like it was only a few weeks ago that Sue and I drove home from Tennessee during an effing tornado. (True story. We were two emotional, frightened, exhausted hot messes that day, but hey, we did it.) I'll miss a lot of what I've come used to here...playing WoW or The Sims while Sue struggles to get to sleep, chasing Dillan throughout the house pretending to be a monster, my room, the way the house smells...
But, I need to remind myself that I am moving on to a new chapter. One where I have my whole family in one spot. An exciting chapter where all the good stuff happens. Don't get me wrong, I am REALLY stoked to see Tyler again, but it's going to be harder to let go of my life here than I had originally thought.
Dillan is busy lately being the cutest little boy ever. Evidence soon to follow.
He has been squawking at Sue and I lately when he wants something, and has been saying the same words "ugga" "gooog" and "gug" for the past few days. I'm hoping that all this verbalization means some real words are coming soon. Unless, "whoa" counts (his favorite word by far).
Anyway, time for this lazy bum to go to bed. Excited to hang out with my brother tomorrow!

If a rolling stone gathers no moss, just call me Mick Jagger.
I swear, its impossible for me to stay in one place for longer than a year. Seriously. I've moved around 13 times within the past 8 years. In and out of dorms, back home for summers, back and forth from apartments...and don't even get me started on Tennessee.
Now, you'd think with all the experience I have under my belt moving again wouldn't be a big issue. Um, have you tried moving when the Army is in charge of the timeframe?

This is probably why I shouldn't make one of these...
I never write in it! I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I have had this thing open, started writing, then just deleted the whole thing. I have blog fright!
I'll get over it...starting now.

Love Drop: March
Last month the Love Drop Team raised over $13,000 (and 3 iPads!) to help two little boys with autism receive a service dog. They were beyond touched, and we did this in only 1 month - that's it. Everyone came together and gave a few bucks each to impact one family's life. If you were a part of it, THANK YOU! You can check out the final video of us showing up to their house here - it's pretty cool.
This month we start all over again and rally behind Katie, a single mom out in Dallas battling not only two brain tumors so far (she's knocked out one, and currently working on the other), but who's also dealing with hydrocephalus. We're teaming up with folks at Blissdom this month to not only bring the community her way, but to make a huge dent in her medical bills.
Wanna help? Here are 3 ways we could use you:
- Give $1.00 - This is the best way to help out and join our team at the same time.
- Join our blogger network - Blog about our Love Drops each month like I am :) It's easy, it's rewarding, and it REALLY helps spread the word (which in turn helps our families). Love Drop will give you all the content you need.
- Give a gift or provide a service - Gift cards are always helpful. Places like Target, Safeway, gas stations, etc would definitely help them out.
Thanks for reading! Here's to love, baby.
